Treasure Data [MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA] announced the hire of Paul ‘Kip’ James as the company’s first Chief Information Security Officer. Treasure Data welcomes James an IT security expert and retired U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant, who has received six medals for technology-related processes and engineering.
Sempra Energy [SAN DIEGO] (NYSE: SRE) announced P. Kevin Chase as its chief information officer. Previously, Chase served as the chief information officer and senior vice president of technology and supply chain at Energy Future Holdings from 2011 to 2016. He was chief information officer and vice president of TXU Energy, a subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, Chase was a vice president of Black & Veatch. In 2005, Black & Veatch acquired Fortegra, co-founded by Chase six years earlier. Previously, he was a senior manager at Accenture.
American International Group, Inc. [NEW YORK] (NYSE: AIG) announced that Martha Gallo has been named Chief Information Officer. She previously served as AIG’s Chief Auditor. She succeeds Philip Fasano, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
Doc & I [CHICAGO, ILLINOIS] announced that Meghan Hendricks has joined the team as Chief Information Officer. Before joining Doc & I Meghan served as the Regional CIO for SSM Health of Wisconsin since 2014. Prior to her time serving as the CIO, Meghan spent the better part of a decade successfully leading large SSM Health IT teams.
World and Main, LLC [CRANBURY, N.J.] appointed Nick Pendrous as Chief Information Officer and General Manager, eCommerce. Pendrous leads the Company’s technology team and strategic technology initiatives and is the General Manager for the Company’s eCommerce business. He recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Dotcom Distribution. Prior to Dotcom Distribution, Pendrous spent fifteen years with Rust-Oleum / Zinsser where he served as Vice President of Information Technology and most recently as Vice President of Distribution and Transportation.
Complia Health [SCHAUMBURG, IL.] announced it has appointed Chris Azar to the executive team as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Most recently, Chris served as the Chief Architect at Cognizant. Prior to that, Chris was the Practice Lead at Kanbay, Inc. Chris’ depth of experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Technology & Product Development at Bluesuit as well as being the Chief Architect & Executive Director of Development at Integrated Capital. Chris has also served as the EA/Product Lead at Ameritrade, where he led PMO, information services, product development, architecture, QA including Web application development, MDM, Integration, business analytics, infrastructure, Cloud, mobile development, and oversaw all new technology initiatives. Additionally, Chris’s has held various leadership positions at multiple startups were he successfully lead these companies to profitability.
HaulFox LLC [DALLAS, TX.] announced the appointment of Real Drouin to the leadership team as Chief Information Officer. Prior to Haul Fox, Real held technology leadership and consulting roles with GE, SanDisk and JP Morgan Chase, as well as organizations that range from private equity holdings to significant multinational enterprises.
Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide [PARSIPPANY, NJ] announced that Steve Oliver has been promoted to chief information officer at the New Jersey-based Ogilvy CommonHealth agency. Steve Oliver has been a key member of the Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide IT team since 2008.
Junxure [RALEIGH, N.C.] announced Timothy Betts as its new Chief Information Officer. Betts has over 25 years of experience in Software Development and was most recently a Software Development Managing Director over financial advisor and client applications produced by Schwab Performance Technologies. Betts also brings a rich history in application, process, and product development with a diverse range of companies, including LMS Medical Systems, GE Healthcare and IBM.
Securities Service Network, Inc. (SSN) [KNOXVILLE, Tenn.] announced that Joe Simpson has been named to the newly-created position of Chief Information Officer. Formerly, Vice President of Technology for SSN, Simpson first joined SSN’s Technology department in 1999 and progressed through a series of positions at SSN, including Assistant Vice President of Technology, and later, Vice President of Technology.
Michael Baker International [PITTSBURGH] announced that Elese (Lisa) Roger has joined the firm as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Previously, she served as Vice President of Technology Services for SC3. At Leidos, Roger was Vice President of Commercial Cyber Security/Operations Manager, Vice President of Federal Information Technology Solutions division and Assistant Vice President of the Language Services division.
AssetMark, Inc. [CONCORD, CA] announced that Mukesh (Muk) Mehta has joined the company as Chief Information Officer. Mehta brings to AssetMark over 20 years of experience developing effective technology systems and solutions for financial advisors. He comes to AssetMark from Cetera Financial where he served as Chief Information Officer. Prior to that, he was Chief Information Officer at TD Ameritrade. He also previously worked as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Schwab Institutional.
