VASCO® Data Security International, Inc. [OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill.] (NASDAQ: VDSI) announced the appointment of Jeff Cole to the position of Chief Information Officer. Cole has held senior management positions at leading companies in the technology field and most recently served as Senior Director Information Management for CareerBuilder. Prior to CareerBuilder, Cole held various management positions for Discover Financial Services rising through a series of roles with increasing responsibility.
Sackett National Holdings, Inc. (SNH) [LAS VEGAS] announced that Eric Ring has been appointed to the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO). Prior to joining SNH, Eric served as Senior Vice President of the Enterprise Architecture at CoreLogic. Ring’s professional history also includes his tenure as Chief Information Officer at First Advantage Credco. In addition, Ring’s professional experience includes tenures as Senior Vice President, IT Operations, at First American Credco, and Director of IT Infrastructure at Advanta.
Abt Associates [BETHESDA, MD] has named Jorge Elguera as the company’s Chief Information Officer. Most recently, he served as a CIO and managing director at Hartman Executive Advisors Prior to this, he spent a decade at a global higher education company Laureate Education, where he was CIO. Early in his career, Elguera helped launch the first wireless messaging company in South America, Skytel Argentina. He also led a consulting practice focused on telecommunications for Oracle Corporation.
84 Lumber [EIGHTY FOUR, Pa.] appointed Paul Yater as chief information officer (CIO). Yater most recently served as senior vice president and chief information officer at GNC. His prior experience spans nearly 25 years and includes roles such as vice president of application development at Dick’s Sporting Goods, business systems manager at Heinz and consultant at IBM.
Barclaycard US [WILMINGTON, Del.] announced the appointment of Shelton Shugar as Chief Information Officer for Barclaycard US. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Enterprise Cloud Services with Hewlett Packard Enterprise in San Francisco. He had previously held positions at CA Technologies, Yahoo!, eBay, Homestore and Verisign, The Thomson Corporation and AOL.
Regions Bank [BIRMINGHAM, Ala.] announced that Amala Duggirala will join the company and serve as Enterprise Chief Information Officer. Duggirala has held senior technology roles in financial firms for several years, having most recently served as Chief Technology Officer for online small-business lender Kabbage. Previously, Duggirala served as Executive Vice President of Application Development at ACI Worldwide. Duggirala’s experience also includes roles at British Telecom, CenturyLink and Modis Consulting.
VF Corporation [GREENSBORO, N.C.] (NYSE: VFC) announced that Martin Schneider, Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO) will retire at the end of 2017. Sandra Harris, Vice President, Global Business Technology, will succeed Schneider as Vice President & CIO, effective Jan. 1, 2018. Harris, an eight-year veteran of VF, previously served as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Global Supply Chain, Shared Services, and Direct-to-Consumer for VF. Harris joined VF after 11 years in the construction products industry, notably with Wilsonart International. She began her career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche.
OneDigital Health and Benefits [ATLANTA] has named Greg Blair Chief Information Officer. Blair has experience with technology strategy, enterprise architecture and management consulting at Arby’s, Microsoft, Ernst & Young and Accenture strengthens OneDigital’s marketplace position.
LoanCare [VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.] announced that Jeff Bell assumed the role of Chief Information Officer. Most recently, Bell was a partner with Crystal Shores Consulting where he worked with mortgage institutions as a management consultant. Prior to Crystal Shores, Bell was the CIO for PHH Corporation.
OCC [CHICAGO] announced that David Hoag will join OCC as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Hoag succeeds Luke Moranda who becomes Senior Vice President and Senior Information Technology Advisor to the President and COO. Before joining OCC, Hoag served as the Chief Technology Officer for Halo Investing, Inc. Previously, Hoag was Chief Technology Officer for NextTier Education. Hoag also spent 11 years with CME Group, most recently leading their information technology development teams.
Bombardier Inc. [MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC] (TSX: BBD.A) (TSX: BBD.B) (OTCQX: BDRBF) announced the appointment of Jeff Hutchinson as Chief Information Officer. Jeff has more than 30 years of experience leading and transforming IT organizations at large companies including Honeywell, Maple Leaf Foods, SAP and Danone/Dannon.
JetPay Corporation [CENTER VALLEY, PA] (NASDAQ: JTPY) announced John Crouch will join JetPay as the Company’s Chief Information Officer (“CIO”). Crouch started his career with Electronic Data Systems (“EDS”) (Now Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (“HPE”)) where he spent seventeen (17) years in a variety of software development, systems infrastructure, and leadership roles. After EDS, Crouch held senior level positions with Certified Merchant Services and was a founding partner of Encore Payment Systems which merged with EVO Payments International in 2013. Most recently at EVO, Crouch held the position of U.S. Chief Information Officer.
