Medallia [PALO ALTO, Calif.] has appointed Ashwin Ballal as the company’s first Chief Information Officer (CIO). Ballal had been Chief Information, Intelligence, and Data Officer for KLA-Tencor. Previously, Ballal held executive positions in KLA-Tencor’s engineering, operations, sales, and marketing divisions, including serving as general manager of a product division and as president and managing director of KLA-Tencor India.
Premier Inc. [CHARLOTTE, N.C.] (NASDAQ: PINC) promoted Leigh Anderson to senior vice president and chief information officer. Anderson will assume the responsibilities of Keith Figlioli who resigned from his position as senior vice president of healthcare informatics. Anderson joined Premier in 2013. Prior to joining Premier, he served in lead informatics roles at Hospital Corporation of America, Health Trust, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) and AT&T.
Interactions, LLC [FRANKLIN, Mass.] appointed Deepak Batheja as Executive Vice President of Technology and CIO. Most recently, Batheja served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Sutherland Global Services. Prior to his time at Sutherland Global Services, Batheja was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Sungard Data Systems Inc. and Vice President of Worldwide Real Time Infrastructure Business at Unisys Corporation.
FBL Financial Group, Inc. [WEST DES MOINES, Iowa] (NYSE: FFG) named Casey Decker as Chief Information Officer (CIO), replacing Daniel Greteman, who served as CIO since January 2015. Decker joined FBL in 2004 as a programmer analyst and progressed to Business Technology Vice President. Since 2014, Decker served as Agency Support Vice President.
